Bryan Garey, Vice President for Human Resources at Virginia Tech, to Serve on the CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Bryan Garey, vice president for human resources at Virginia Tech, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). He will join the board on July 1.

Garey has been a longtime member of CUPA-HR and has served in CUPA-HR leadership roles at both the chapter and national levels. During his time at the University of Virginia, he helped revitalize the Virginia Chapter board, and the UVA HR team hosted chapter conferences and helped seed the now active Virginia Chapter leadership team. He has presented at chapter, region and national conferences. At the national level, he has been a member of CUPA-HR’s Learning and Professional Development Committee, which is responsible for selecting conference programming.
