Melanie DeSantis, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and CHRO at Franklin & Marshall College, to Serve on the CUPA-HR Board of Directors

Melanie DeSantis, associate vice president for human resources and CHRO at Franklin & Marshall College, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). She will join the board as the Eastern Region representative on July 1.

DeSantis has been a member of CUPA-HR for over 16 years. She was an active member of the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware Chapter, where she served as president from 2017 to 2018. DeSantis was selected to participate in the 2018-19 cohort of the Emerging CUPA-HR Leaders program. In 2021, she was elected to the Eastern Region board of directors and served in several roles, including region board chair during the 2023-24 fiscal year. DeSantis has also participated in regional and national committees, including the national CUPA-HR Public Policy Committee and the Eastern Region Program Committee, and has served as a CUPA-HR conference ambassador and presenter.
